and my spear is sharp
My helm is strong
I have been paid to serve
I will die to protect his life
I am a húskarl, I fight to the death

I fear nothing
I shall defend the Jarl
from his enemies
Slaying them one by one
I swore an oath to fight until the end
If my King shall die
I shall avenge his death

Outnumbered and outflanked
I swiftly draw my sword
They are swarming fast
